Product Overview
Dredgepack Software
The rugged MCAS System provides precise measurements that can withstand harshconditions often present in the marine construction industry such as on mechanical orhydraulic dredges. This system in combination with a standard positioning equipmentpackage outputs real time data for an efficient and user-friendly dredging operation.
Overview
- Data from the MCAS hardware is output to the Telestra Technologies Topside Interface Box. This topside contains the USB to CAN-FD compact device and optionally includes a pitch/roll sensor. Data is then output to the computer through a single cable.
- Angle measurements are input into the HYPACK hardware setup for either the inclinometer.dll or excavator.dll. The drivers in HYPACK calculate position and elevation based on the GPS inputs and geometry of the angle sensors for a precise measurement.
